Barb Swartz-Biscaro is the CEO/Lead of HSA (Helen Sanderson Associates) Canada and 360° Restorative Healing. She has worked in the social service field for more than 25 years. A self-proclaimed paradigm shifter, she provides an unconditional presence to individuals, families, teams and organizations looking to explore and create meaningful change. This is done through independent facilitation, training, consulting and keynote speaking opportunities. Barb has experience with supporting people with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury, mental health needs, sexual violence, end of life/long-term care and in the education sector. Barb is also a Minessence Values Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner, Relaxation Massge Practitioner, Life transitions Doula, mom of 3, stepmom of 4 and grandmother of 6. She lives with her family on their hobby farm in Dunchurch, ON.

One of Barb’s greatest passions over the last 15 years has been independent planning facilitation. She was the planning coordinator at Community Living Parry Sound until she decided to become independent in this work. She has been planning with people and their families in various situations, ages and stages of life. She has supported people in medically complex and high risk situations where strong advocacy was required for the person to live a life of meaning while also being cared for adequately. Barb is also a member of the Planning and Facilitation Collabortive offered through Partners for Planning. Barb walks alongside people, ensuring they have choice and control over their future through their own “voice”.
